Method: each game's margin is drawn from a normal distribution centered on the FVOA rating gap (plus home-field advantage), the season is replayed 10,000 times, and each conference is seeded the modern way — four division winners plus three wildcards. Tiebreaks are wins, then point differential. Ratings and sims refresh with the weekly model run. See the model registry for how FVOA is fit.
